Our affiliates

Kings International Movers is associated with a network of offices around the world through our affiliations with some of the most respected international organisations.

Not only giving us worldwide representation, these affiliations, listed below, ensure that our services are always of the highest quality.

SAIMA (South African International Movers Association)

When hiring a moving company it is important to choose a SAIMA member. Only South Africa's foremost international removers belong to this association of which Kings International Managing Director, Rolf Lamers is Vice President.

As members, we promise to be completely honest, fair and courteous in all our business relationships with you. We also pledge to maintain the highest professional, financial and operational standards.

Furthermore, our services must conform to the highest worldwide standards.

SAIMA members are furthermore required to lodge a bank guarantee of US $10 000 with SAIMA. This is a significant advantage for customers who choose to deal with SAIMA members.

In addition to these global connections, another advantage of dealing with a SAIMA member is that, in the unlikely event of a complaint, you can address your problems to a national executive committee.

In the event of a financial dispute, the organisation also has a Consumer Protection Fund that will be used to resolve the monetary issue.

This combination of quality services should be reason enough to insist on a SAIMA member when hiring an international removals company.

British Association of Removers (BAR)

http://www.barmovers.com/

As another national member association of FIDI, BAR also sets out very exacting standards for its members. They require honesty, fairness, competence and commitment to providing a high level of service. Through rigorous inspection before membership and regularly thereafter, all members must also meet specific minimum criteria relating to their operations, materials, equipment, staff and finances.

However, in the unlikely event of financial failure, the BAR will appoint another member to complete the remainder of the contract, at no additional expense to you. This service is ensured by the International Movers Mutual Insurance (IMMI) Advance Payment Guarantee Scheme - the only authentic scheme of its kind in the UK offering total protection against insolvency.

Household Goods Forwarders Association of America (HHGFAA)

http://www.hhgfaa.org/

Representing movers and forwarders who handle commercial shipments of household goods, the HHGFAA is also committed to maintaining the highest standards of international moving services. They aim to ensure timely, cost-effective and secure handling of goods.
